BROKEN BOW – Broken Bow residents have a new option for entertainment in the evenings as Crackerjacks Sports Bar & Grill and Axe Kickers celebrated their grand opening on Thursday.
The partnership is located in the former party room on the west end of the Tumbleweed Cafe, which has been remodeled with a bar and grill and axe throwing space.
Carmen Bumgarner said the partnership came together after discussions with Axe Kickers co-owner Kendall Teichmeier, who was looking for a larger space.
Bumgarner said that she had wanted to get back into serving food in the evenings after the Tumbleweed is closed. She added that she wants it to be a place for people to go after local sporting events.
Crackerjacks and Axe Kickers will be open every evening after 5 p.m.
