A Papillion man is accused of trying to entice who he believed was a 15-year-old girl in the North Platte area.
Lincoln County Court records say 47-year-old Clinton Kerans is charged with Sexual Assault by Use of an Electronic Communication Device and Child Enticement.
According to an arrest affidavit, Kerans contacted who he believed was a 15-year-old girl on a social media site.
Court records say despite knowing that the girl was underage, Kerans had sexually explicit conversations with her, and had expressed wanting to meet her in North Platte to have sex.
Kerans was arraigned on the charges Monday, where his bond was set at 10% of $100,000.
He is due back in court on April 23rd at 9:00 a.m.
