In the sequence of events that day, a man entered the bank around 8 a.m., demanded cash, and assaulted an employee, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect fled in a stolen vehicle, which was located shortly after.

Authorities are still looking into whether this incident is connected to a previous burglary at the same bank branch in February.
