FARNAM, Neb. — First State Bank has donated $100,000 to the Farnam Volunteer Fire Department to support disaster response and recovery following the Cottonwood Fire.
The donation was made through the FHLBank Topeka Community Assistance Recovery Effort (CARE) Program, which matched First State Bank’s contribution three‑to‑one, increasing the overall impact of the gift.
Funds will support critical equipment and resources as the Farnam Volunteer Fire Department continues its mission to protect the community and surrounding rural areas.
First State Bank is committed to supporting local emergency responders and investing in the communities it serves.
