Members Broken Bow FBLA are preparing for a trip to the 2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference and are asking the community for support during a fundraiser this weekend.
Emmett Palmer and Lachlan White stopped by the KBEAR studio recently to talk about the upcoming conference and a fundraiser happening Saturday, May 16 at Runza in Broken Bow.
The students said this year’s National Leadership Conference will take place June 29 through July 2, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. The event brings together FBLA students from across the country for leadership training, networking opportunities, and national competitions.
During the May 16 fundraiser, 10 percent of sales and 100 percent of tips at the Broken Bow Runza will go toward helping Broken Bow FBLA students cover travel expenses for the trip to nationals.
Broken Bow FBLA earned the opportunity to compete at nationals following strong performances at the Nebraska FBLA State Leadership Conference earlier this spring.
Palmer and White said they are excited for the opportunity to represent Broken Bow and Nebraska on the national stage while continuing to build leadership and business skills through FBLA.
