The Kearney Bearcats are in the NSAA Girls Soccer Tournament Semifinals for the first time since 2014.
After their 5-0 win over Millard South, where Reese Holscher, Mollie Kalsbeck, Hallie Garner, Peyton Sanford and Addie Snyder scored for KHS, the Bearcats take on Omaha Marian tomorrow at 2PM.
It’ll be the second match between the Crusaders and the Bearcats this season. On April 6, Kearney defeated Marian 1-0 in an overtime match, with Holscher finding the back of the net in extra time.
KRVN’s Alex Hammeke previewed the match with Kearney Girls Soccer Head Coach Lerrin Rowe
The winner of the Kearney/Marian game will play in the Class A State Championship Monday at 8PM against the winner of Lincoln Southwest and Elkhorn South.
