The coaches for the upcoming West Nebraska All-Star Games in Scottsbluff have now been finalized.
The 48th annual West Nebraska All-Star Football Game will be held at Bearcat Stadium in Scottsbluff on Saturday, June 13th, with kickoff at 11 am MT.
Joe Vetrovsky from McCook will lead the West team. Assisting him will be Brendan Geier (Perkins County), Michael Sandstrom (Chadron) and Ben Vetrovsky (McCook).
Brandon Cool from Kearney will lead the East team in 2026. Assisting Coach Cool will be Tyke Kozeal (Ord), Kyle Peters (Kearney) and Nate Wells (Ord).
The 42nd edition for the Volleyball All-Star showcase will be played later that day at WNCC’s Cougar Palace starting at 3 pm MT.
Lisa Merritt from Hay Springs and Jodi Craig from Morrill will lead the West team as co-coaches.
Leading the East team will be Julie Ratka from Minden. Jamee Smith (Ansley/Litchfield) will be her assistant.
A portion of the proceeds from both games benefit local organizations.
