GOTHENBURG – After a third place finish at the C-5 District meet a week ago, the Gothenburg boys golf team is back to state this year after just missing out a season ago.
KRVN’s Jon Willis talked with Gothenburg head coach golf Nolan Sughroue about making it to state.
Three of the five qualifying golfers got Gothenburg are sophomores, and the top finisher at the C-5 district for Gothenburg was sophomore Valon Pfeifer who shot a 76 and was the runner up. Action starts tomorrow for Class C at Indianhead Golf Club in Grand Island.
