COZAD, NE – Cozad Child Care has launched a challenge grant to help raise funds for necessary facility updates. Funds raised will be used for replacing and updating within the facility such as a new HVAC system, a commercial dishwasher, new windows, installation of a handwash-only sink for the cook, and other smaller repairs.
Center Director Nancy Bullis says they have a goal of $75,000 to unlock an additional $25,000 grant.
The center is also offering their Cozad Child Care Spotlight Sponsorship for $5,000. Any business that purchases this sponsorship will then be showcased on the Cozad Child Care facebook page for a chosen month.
Bullis talks about why Cozad Child Care is so vital to the community.
Cozad Child Care was started in 1992, it is a non-profit organization governed by a board of nine people and currently cares for approximately 40 kids.
