The South Fork Fire continues to burn near Crawford, Nebraska, growing to more than 28,000 acres as firefighters work to protect communities, Fort Robinson State Park, and critical infrastructure.
This video captures conditions on the fire line as crews battle challenging terrain, dry vegetation, and shifting winds in northwest Nebraska.
According to fire officials, the South Fork Fire is currently 7% contained. More than 145 personnel, including aviation resources, National Guard members, and ground crews, are assigned to the incident. Evacuations remain in place for portions of Crawford and Fort Robinson State Park.
