BROKEN BOW, Neb. — Rustic Relics is settling into Broken Bow with a mix of western décor, antiques, and event rental pieces.
The business recently celebrated its Broken Bow location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony through the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce. The store has been open for a little more than two months, offering items such as cow hides, antiques, skulls, picture frames, home décor, dream catchers, and other rustic pieces.
Rustic Relics also rents event decorations, including pallet walls, whiskey barrels, wagon wheels, cowhide rugs, and other items with a rustic look. Owners said rental pieces can be available through more than one location.
The name Rustic Relics came from the business’s original style, which started with metal lawn décor before expanding into antiques and other rustic items. The Broken Bow storefront came together after the owners spent years bringing similar merchandise to the area during Junk Jaunt and saw an opportunity when a Highway 2 location became available.
Store representatives said the early response from the community has been strong, though they noted many people are still learning the business is now open in Broken Bow.
Rustic Relics of Broken Bow is located across from China Garden in the Arrow Hotel building. Current hours are Wednesday from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. during the farmers market, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Customers may also visit by appointment.
The business can be found on Facebook at Rustic Relics of Broken Bow. Owners said they may look at expanded hours in the future as the business continues to grow.
Rustic Relics is also holding a giveaway, with any purchase earning customers an entry for a bike drawing planned for September.
