One of key parts of the best season in Nebraska basketball history will now get a shot at the NBA. Former Husker post Rienk Mast has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Indiana Pacers. The Netherlands native spent three years with the Big Red, playing in two seasons and played a huge role in helping the Huskers secure two of what became three consecutive 20-win seasons for the first time in program history.
The 6’9″ senior forward, who is also a member of the Dutch national team, transferred in 2023 after spending three years at Bradley. He averaged 13 points, six rebounds and three assists per game in 34 games this season while leading the Cornhuskers to their best year in program history.
