HILDRETH, NE – The 2026 Hildreth 4th of July Celebration kicks off Friday and runs through Saturday night with plenty of activities for all ages.
Grow Hildreth partners with the Hildreth Lion’s Club and other local groups to organize the annual event.
Grow Hildreth Member Kristi Rosendahl says Friday night is the Golf Cart Poker Run, then Saturday starts early with a 5k & 1 Mile Start at 7:30am, then breakfast and a Kids Parade to follow at the park, with the big parade at 10am.
Following the parade is a big line-up of activities for all ages at the park.
Other events throughout the day include the cardboard boat races at 3:30 pm, watermelon eating contest at 4 pm, the duck dive and Firemen’s BBQ at 6 pm.
Normally, you always hear about the kid’s tractor pull, which they will have at 12:30pm, but they will also have an adult tractor pull!
The adult tractor pull will start at 7pm with a calcutta and will take place at Commercial Ave.
Fireworks will start around 10 pm at the park.
