KEARNEY — A Kearney man accused in a firearm-related incident has entered no contest pleas to amended charges in Buffalo County District Court.
Jordan Ingraham, 30, was originally charged with unlawful or intentional discharge of a firearm, terroristic threats, and use of a firearm to commit a felony.
Court records show Ingraham entered a plea agreement on June 25. Under the agreement, the firearm discharge charge was amended to attempted commission of a Class 2A felony, which is a Class 3A felony. The third count, which involved the use of a firearm to commit a felony, was dismissed by the court.
A no-contest plea does not admit or deny guilt, but it is treated the same as a guilty plea for sentencing purposes.
Sentencing has been scheduled for 9 a.m. on Aug. 20.
The arrest warrant affidavit in the case has been sealed. However, the complaint states the incident happened on July 27 in the 1800 block of Avenue A in Kearney. Prosecutors alleged Ingraham used and discharged a handgun and threatened two people with violence with the intent to terrorize them.
Ingraham was arrested and booked into the Buffalo County Jail on Aug. 7, 2025.
