Lexington, Neb. — Conservation Nebraska is holding a half-day, interactive community workshop this Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at the Lexington Public Library.
Group Program Manager Favian Mendez says the goal is to discuss key issues impacting the state and explore how these challenges affect the local community…
A news release says the session will provide an overview of the current landscape across Nebraska, highlighting major challenges and trends, before pivoting into how these issues show up at the community level.
Mendez says they encourage people to sign-up for the event on the Conservation Nebraska Facebook page and go into events.
Mendez says they’re also partnering with Keep Lexington Beautiful on Saturday for a community cleanup.
This will take place at 3 p.m. at Plum Creek Park and they’ll provide refreshments and water for participants at the workshop and also at the cleanup.
