BANCROFT, Neb. — The Nebraska Shrine Bowl Board of Directors is proud to announce the coaching staffs for the 69th Annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl, which will be played on Saturday, June 5, 2027, at Cope Stadium on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
The Nebraska Shrine Bowl is Nebraska’s premier high school all-star football game, bringing together the state’s outstanding graduating seniors for one final opportunity to represent their schools and communities while supporting the mission of Shriners Children’s. Since 1959, the game has raised millions of dollars to provide life-changing specialty medical care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and palate, and other complex medical needs, regardless of a family’s ability to pay or insurance status.
“Being selected to coach in the Nebraska Shrine Bowl is one of the highest honors in Nebraska high school football,” said Dr. Jon Cerny, Executive Director of the Nebraska Shrine Bowl. “These coaches have distinguished themselves through their commitment to excellence, their dedication to developing young people, and the success of their programs. We are grateful for the time they will invest in mentoring Nebraska’s top senior football players while helping advance the mission of Shriners Children’s.”
The North Team will be led by Judson Hall of Scottsbluff High School. Hall has continued the proud tradition of Scottsbluff football since becoming head coach in 2019. After serving nine seasons as a Bearcat assistant coach, Hall has compiled an outstanding 58-20 career record while leading the Bearcats to seven consecutive NSAA Class B playoff appearances. In his first season as head coach, Scottsbluff advanced to the 2019 Class B State Championship Game, finishing as the state runner-up. Under Hall’s leadership, the Bearcats have remained one of Nebraska’s premier Class B football programs and a consistent postseason contender.
The South Team will be coached by Tim Clemenger of Papillion-La Vista South High School. Clemenger has established Papillion-La Vista South as one of Nebraska’s rising Class A programs. Entering the 2026 season with a 31-22 career record, Clemenger guided the Titans to the 2025 Class A State Championship Game, a district championship, and one of the school’s best seasons in recent history.

The 69th Annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl will culminate with kickoff on Saturday, June 5, 2027, at Cope Stadium in Kearney. More than a football game, the Nebraska Shrine Bowl celebrates the state’s finest graduating senior football players while raising awareness and support for Shriners Children’s, whose healthcare system has helped thousands of children throughout Nebraska and beyond receive specialized medical care regardless of their families’ ability to pay.
Player selections for the 2027 Nebraska Shrine Bowl will be announced later this school year.
