Nebraska rodeo competitors posted wins at several rodeos across the state while continuing to find success on the professional circuit.
At the Dawson County Fair Rodeo, Koltdyn Heath won bareback riding, Beau Wiebelhaus claimed steer wrestling and Olivia Harland topped the barrel racing. Jeff Johnston and Levi Tyan won the team roping, while Shelby Hinkle and Levi Tyan claimed the mixed team roping.
At the O’Neill Summerfest Rodeo, Brynne McCully won breakaway roping, Parker Johnston claimed steer wrestling and Cooper Martin won saddle bronc riding. Jeff Johnston and Levi Tyan added another team roping victory.
The Greeley Rodeo featured wins by Chance Barnes in tie-down roping, Trevor Haake in steer wrestling, Reagan Stracke in barrel racing and Ben Wood in bull riding.
On the PRCA trail, Garrett Shadbolt placed third in Round 1 of Cheyenne Frontier Days with an 87.5-point ride. Gauge McBride earned a round win at the Wet Mountain Valley Stampede Rodeo in Colorado with an 88-point ride. Riley Pruitt added top finishes in tie-down roping at both Cheyenne Frontier Days and the NFR Open in Colorado Springs.
