The State Fair also features thousands of 4-H and FFA entries, including cattle, swine, sheep, goats, and horses from across the state’s 93 counties.

This year’s State Fair features major headliners like Phil Wickham, KC and the Sunshine Band, Home Free, Shinedown, and HARDY, alongside motorsports, rodeos, and over 5,000 hours of free daily grounds entertainment.

The Nebraska State Fair comes together through the dedication of more than 1,000 volunteers and hundreds of staff members who work behind the scenes.
One of the many people who have contributed a great deal to the event over the years is KRVN Farm Director Steve White who recently learned that he’s been named Grand Marshal of the State Fair on Sunday, September 6th.

Grand Marshals are selected from among candidates who have made a significant impact on Nebraska communities, local agriculture, county fairs, or the state fair itself.
Those chosen as Grand Marshals are recognized an entire day of the Nebraska State Fair. They participate in a parade by riding in the 2026 Grand Marshal vehicle and attending a reception in their honor.
