BROKEN BOW – A new specialty shop in Broken Bow is bringing crystals, locally handmade products and unique learning opportunities to the Broken Bow community.
The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, November 5, 2026, to officially welcome Lifting Spirits as one of their newest members.
Owner Eve Conner said the idea behind the business began with her personal experience in searching for natural alternatives.
“I actually started all of this because I have suffered from migraines since I was a teenager,” Conner said. “I found out about amber and how it helps with migraines and headaches, so I decided to try it out. I went from taking about five ibuprofen a day to maybe one every four months, that is when I started looking into other natural products like crystals.”
She said that whole experience inspired her to share what she had learned with others and eventually grow the business into a storefront.
Products
Lifting Spirits offers a variety of crystals, including carvings, spheres, towers, polished stones and rough rocks. Customers can also find handmade bracelets, crystal jewelry, sun catchers, intention bottles, fairy gardens, crystal chess sets, dice, keychains and other specialty gift items.
The shop also features locally made products, including pure tallow body care items, wire wrapped jewelry, artwork and masks. Conner said the business can also help customers find specialty items that may not currently be in stock.
Classes & Activities
In addition to a variety of products, Lifting Spirits also plans to offer several classes and activities.
Planned offerings include wire wrapping, bracelet making and educational classes introducing customers to meditations, Reiki and crystals. An archery class taught by an instructor with Olympic training is also planned at an off site location.
Conner said Reiki is a form of energy healing intended to promote relaxation and improve physical, mental and emotional well being. She has held a Reiki certification for approximately three years and plans to offer sessions once an additional room at the business is ready.
Connor credited several local individuals and artists for helping bring the business together.
“I think my village is finding me instead of me finding them honestly,” Conner said. “A lot of people have helped me along the way…”
Lifting Spirits began with a soft opening in August. The business is open Mondays and Saturdays from 10:00am – 4:00pm, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00am – 8:00pm. The store is closed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
