The Lexington Regional Health Center recently celebrated the completion of newly renovated Labor and Delivery rooms.
Dr. Kyle Klammer of Lexington Regional says the project has been a long time coming.
The renovations included updated patient rooms featuring expanded family space, labor and delivery beds, sleeper sofas, rocking chairs for mothers, family seating that converts to beds, refrigerators for breast milk storage, enhanced lighting, new televisions, and calming design elements focused on comfort and healing.
In addition to the room updates, Dr. Klammer says they have new advanced technology and equipment.
