Authorities in North Platte arrested four people in connection to a weapons bust.
The North Platte Police Department says on April 3rd at around 8:00 a.m., officers received credible information that 26-year-old Andrew Roepke, a convicted felon, was in possession of firearms.
A search warrant was obtained for Roepke’s home located in the 2800 block of West 19th Street.
Several prohibited weapons, including firearms and machetes, were found in the residence.
The weapons reportedly belonged to Andrew Roepke, his brother, 40-year-old Nathaniel Roepke, and their father, 64-year-old Vernon Roepke, all of whom are convicted felons.
Probable Cause was also developed to indicate that 36-year-old Jonathan Jones, a convicted felon, was in possession of firearms associated with this case
ANDREW ROEPKE

Roepke was arrested for Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person, a Class ID Felony.
Court records show he is a felon as of February 2018.
He has been involved in several crimes in the past, including spending jail time for theft cases in Brown County in 2019 and Lincoln County in 2025.
Court records show he was also sentenced for Possession of a Deadly Weapon involving a knife in Lincoln County in 2022, Assault on an Officer and two counts of Assault by a Confined Person out of Buffalo County in 2018.
VERNON ROEPKE
Roepke was arrested for Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person, a Class ID Felony.
Court records say he is a convicted felon in Nebraska as of August of 1980 for 1st-Degree Assault.
NATHANIEL ROEPKE

Police say Nathaniel Roepke was not present when the search warrant was served.
He was contacted and arrested for Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person, a Class III Felony.
Roepke is currently out on parole after he was sentenced in 2023 for Attempted 1st-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.
JONATHON JONES

Jones was not present at the time the warrant was served, but he was later arrested for Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person, a Class ID Felony.
Court documents say Jones is a convicted felon out of South Dakota as of January 2019 for Aggravated Assault Against a Police Officer with a Weapon.
