Pleasanton highlighted a strong showing with multiple event champions and relay success, while Anselmo-Merna, Twin Loup, Amherst, Arcadia-Loup City, and Centura all turned in notable performances across the meet.
Pleasanton’s Brennan Lindner led the boys effort with a dominant sweep of the sprints, winning the 100 meters in 10.78 and the 200 in 22.36, both personal-best times. Braxton Eilenstine added a fifth-place finish in the 100 and fourth in the 200, while Davis Sleicher contributed additional top-10 finishes. In the distance races, Dylan Phillips placed third and Sterling Phillips fourth in the 800, helping power Pleasanton to a runner-up finish in the 4×800 relay. Sam Smith added a second-place finish in the triple jump, and the Bulldogs also picked up a fifth-place finish in the 4×400 relay.
On the girls side, Emme Westland claimed the 100-meter title and added a third-place finish in the hurdles, while also anchoring Pleasanton’s winning 4×100 relay. Lily Chandler had a standout meet, winning the pole vault and triple jump while finishing second in the high jump. The Bulldogs also won the 4×800 relay and placed third in the 4×400.
Anselmo-Merna saw standout performances from Colin Wright, who won the 200 meters and placed second in the 100, while also taking second in the high jump. Destrey White added a runner-up finish in the long jump and placed fourth in the 100. Trevor Duryea captured the triple jump title with a leap of 44 feet, 10 inches and added a fourth-place finish in the long jump. Caenyn Priest placed third in both the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles.
Twin Loup was led by Emmet Grint, who placed second in the 300 hurdles and fifth in the 110 hurdles, while also contributing to a fifth-place 4×400 relay finish. Everett Funk added a fourth-place finish in the 3200 meters, and Blake Bottorf placed third in the shot put.
Amherst and Arcadia-Loup City both had strong individual performances. Amherst’s Gavin Davis won the 400 meters and the long jump while adding a runner-up finish in the 200. Arcadia-Loup City’s Tyce Calleroz won the 100 meters and helped the 4×400 relay team to a second-place finish. Dutch Miller added runner-up finishes in both the 1600 and 3200 meters.
Centura made its mark in the field events, led by Gavin Whitefoot, who placed second in the shot put and third in the discus, while Jax Campbell added a third-place finish in the shot put and fifth in the discus. The Centura 4×100 relay team also placed third.
On the girls side across the area, several athletes posted strong finishes. Arcadia-Loup City’s Tayler Obermiller won the 400 meters, while Amherst’s Broxlynn Fast placed third in both the 800 and 1600. Centura’s Lauren Suntych earned a runner-up finish in the 100 and later won the pole vault. Hadley Rademacher of Arcadia-Loup City placed second in the 100 hurdles and added a sixth-place finish in the 300 hurdles.
