SHERMAN COUNTY, NE- A camper caught fire Saturday night at Sherman Reservoir, prompting a response from Loup City Fire, the Sherman County Sheriff’s Office, and emergency officials.
According to a Facebook post from the Sherman County Sheriff, 911 Dispatch and Region 26 Emergency Management notified crews of the fire on April 18. The sheriff’s office said the camper was unoccupied and no injuries were reported.
Officials say the fire was quickly put out, with the camper considered a total loss. The post adds there was no damage to nearby property.
