Two people are facing charges related to a child sexual assault case out of Buffalo County.
Buffalo County Court records say 36-year-old Michael Swanson of Ravenna is charged with two counts of 1st-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.
While details of the case are sealed, a complaint says Swanson is alleged to have sexually assaulted a child under 16 years old on two occasions, once in September of 2019 and another in February of 2026 involving the same victim.
A Kearney woman, 36-year-old Amelia Bradshaw, is charged with one count of Negligent Child Abuse related to the case.
Court records say she is accused of negligently causing the victim to be placed in a situation to be sexually abused.
According to court documents, the pair appeared in court on Monday, where Swanson’s bond was set at 10% of $500,000 and Bradshaw’s at 10% of $50,000.
Records say Swanson will be arraigned on May 11th, and both will have a preliminary hearing on June 3rd.
