Work will begin next Monday, May 18th on Interstate 80 (I-80) between Brady and Gothenburg, from mile post 205 to mile post 213, according to the
Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Paulsen Inc., of Cozad, is the contractor for this project. Work includes bridge repairs and asphalt paving.
Traffic will be maintained with temporary lane closures. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect.
Anticipated completion is Oct. 2026.
The purpose of this project is to preserve the transportation asset, improve the reliability of the
transportation system and perpetuate the mobility of the traveling public.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
