Kearney-It has been awhile since the Kearney Catholic girls soccer team last played in Omaha at the state tournament. Their last appearance was in 2017. This year the Stars earned the wildcard in Class B after dropping their District final to Columbus Scotus. Before that setback they were undefeated on the season. Head coach Bruce Lear spoke this week with KRVN’s Jayson Jorgensen.
The Stars will play Elkhorn at 2pm on Wednesday afternoon in the state quarterfinals from Morrison Stadium.
