A Grand Island man convicted of several sexual assault charges has been sentenced.
Hall County District Court records show 26-year-old Milton Castanon, Jr. was sentenced to around 80-118 years in prison for three counts of 1st-Degree Sexual Assault and four counts of 3rd Degree Sexual Assault.
He was given credit for 122 days served, and will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
A Hall County jury found Castanon guilty of the charges last March.
According to an arrest affidavit, officers responded to a report of a sexual assault on July 25, 2023.
Court records state two children reported they were sexually assaulted by Castanon when they were under 10 years old, and indicated there could be more victims.
According to a complaint outlining the charges, the crimes occurred between 2014-2015, when Castanon would have been around 15-16 years old.
The complaint says the crimes involved five total victims.
