BROKEN BOW, NE – The Custer County Chamber of Commerce welcomed two businesses during ribbon-cutting ceremonies Thursday afternoon, recognizing continued growth and investment in the local community.
The first ceremony celebrated Nutrien Ag Solutions and the opening of a new office suite located within the Chamber of Commerce building. Representatives Zach Rogers and Mason Klingelhoefer said the office will provide a space for customer meetings and consultations as they travel throughout the area, serving producers with crop input products and farm services.
Rogers and Klingelhoefer explained they were previously based out of the company’s Kearney office but felt the addition of a Broken Bow location was necessary as their market presence and customer base continued to expand throughout the region.
A second ribbon cutting was held for From Tips to Toes, a nail salon located at 724 S. D Street in Broken Bow.
The salon is operated by Brandi Sommer, Mehgan Johnson, and Eyerusalem Griffiths, who bring more than 20 years of combined experience to the business. The owners said they pride themselves on offering flexible appointment scheduling to accommodate customer needs while providing a variety of nail care services.
Sommer, Johnson, and Griffiths said they look forward to continuing to build relationships within the community, welcoming new customers, and potentially expanding the services offered in the future.
Those attending the ceremonies included Custer County Chamber of Commerce Board President Andy Gibbons, Executive Director Stephanie Grafel, and board members Suzie Walker and Jack Simpson. Broken Bow City Administrator David Schmidt and State Senator Tanya Storer were also in attendance and offered remarks recognizing the businesses and their commitment to serving the community.
