The North Platte Police Department is investigating the deaths of two North Platte residents discovered at a residence in the 2700 block of West 20th Street during the early morning hours of June 28, 2026.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 1:21 a.m. and confirmed two deceased individuals inside the home. The deceased were identified as 35-year-old Ashley Navarrete and 35-year-old Johnathan Navarrete.
Investigators processed the scene, secured the residence, and obtained a search warrant as part of the ongoing investigation. The cause and manner of death remain undetermined at this time, and the investigation remains active pending the completion of the autopsy and receipt of the final autopsy report.
