Cozad, Neb. — In early July, a violent storm with 60-mile-per hour winds and heavy hail struck the property of a Cozad couple, crushing their camper, with them in it, destroying the contents and leaving them with injuries which they’re still recovering from.
Ron and Linda Deprez are dealing with shock and the loss of their temporary home, while their permanent home is being built. Volunteer Jennifer Hafner describes a local effort to help the couple…
Hafner says people can help by searching for the GoFundMe account set up on the page, “Help My Friend Recover After Wind Storm.”
She says sharing the link on Facebook or via text would also be helpful.
