LOUP CITY — Dan Howard was sworn in Tuesday as a full-time deputy with the Sherman County Sheriff’s Office.
Howard recently served with the St. Paul Police Department and also has previous experience working as a sheriff’s deputy.
The sheriff’s office welcomed Howard to Sherman County and said residents will soon see him patrolling throughout the area as he becomes familiar with the county and its communities.
Howard took the oath of office during a ceremony at the Sherman County Courthouse.
