The 10U boys baseball team from Dawson County made up of Gothenburg and Lexington boys competed in the Nebraska USSSA 10U AA tournament this past weekend winning the state title. They went 2-0 on the first day of competition, 1-1 on the second day and then finsihed 3-0 on the final day to win the double elimination tourney.
The Outlaws scored a tournament high of 82 runs during the tournament only giving up just 39 runs over the seven games. Over they weekend they went 7-1 to claim the AA state championship. The team was coached by Ben McNally, Colby Slonecker and Nate Sund.
