GOTHENBURG – Livin’ Out Loud, a free annual event featuring Christian fellowship through music and testimony that draws over ten thousand people each year, is coming up August 15th and 16th in Gothenburg at Lake Helen.
The lineup for the concert includes Danny Gokey, Megan Woods, Band Reeves, All the Noise, and Lagan and Katie.
Saturday will also feature special guest speaker Aaron Davis – motivational speaker and former Husker football player out of Lincoln.
Livin’ Out Loud Vice President Tim Strauser says they have countless vendors lined up for this year.
This free, Christ-centered Christian music festival held every summer at Lake Helen Recreation Area in Gothenburg was started as a small community gathering in 2013 and has grown into a landmark event.
Strauser talks about the impact this event has on attendees spiritually.
With it being entirely donor-driven, no ticket purchase is needed. Strauser says they accept free-will donations at the event as well.
Sunday morning closes out the event with a community worship service at Lake Helen starting at 10am.
