Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney football program today announced its captains for the upcoming 2026 season.
They are redshirt senior center Carter Klein (Pleasanton), redshirt senior linebacker Dylan Jordan (Pittsburg, Kan.), redshirt senior linebacker Parker Wise (Kearney), redshirt junior punter Marty Mormino (Omaha Westside), and junior quarterback Devin Tate (Oxnard, Calif.).
Both Klein and Wise are repeat selections; the rest are tabbed for the first time. A player’s vote determines the group with all five expected to start Thursday night’s game vs. Wayne State. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and can be heard on 93.1 the river and 106.9 in Kearney.
