Nonprofit organizations in Custer County have until October 31, 2026, to submit grant applications to the Custer County Foundation.
Last year, the foundation awarded more than $154,400 in grants to 34 Custer County nonprofit organizations.
The Custer County Foundation, Inc. works to improve quality of life in the area by supporting community needs. Eligible nonprofit organizations may apply for funding in areas including civic projects, culture, health, education, the environment and social services.
Applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed following two annual deadlines. The next deadline after October 31 is April 30, 2027.
Applications are available at custercountyfoundation.org under the Grants section or at the foundation office, located at 403 South Ninth Avenue in Broken Bow.
Applicants are encouraged to review the guidelines and requirements carefully. Grant guidelines have recently been updated, and incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Applications may be delivered to the office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or mailed. Mailed applications must be postmarked by October 31, 2026.
