At 90 and 95 years young, some things never change, including the value of a good business relationship. Don Griebel, 95, (left) recently received a visit from James “Jim” Trotter, 90, founder of Trotter Inc., who stopped by to make a sales call to his oldest active customer.
Trotter founded his business in Arcadia in 1962, building what would become a family-operated company serving communities across central Nebraska. Meanwhile, Griebel Farms, a fourth-generation farming operation that began with Don, is celebrating its 75th harvest this season. Between the two men are decades of hard work, family legacies and a business relationship that has stood the test of time.
