Noah Reisenfeld of 21 Sports & Entertainment, the agent for Nebraska QB Anthony Colandrea, has told Tim Verghese of Hurrdat Sports and ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Friday that the quarterback has signed with the Huskers for the 2027 season.
Colandrea so far has completed 60% of his passes this season for 1,570 yards, with 14 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He’s also ran the ball for over 300 yards and four touchdowns. The signing ensures that Colandrea will spend his fifth and final season with the Huskers.
The quarterback transferred to Nebraska last offseason, after spending time with Virginia and UNLV.
Nebraska QB commit Trae Taylor, who is playing his final year of high school at Millard South, quote tweeted the announcement from Verghese and said that: “This changes absolutely nothing for my commitment and I’m 100% locked in. Looking forward to coming in and competing and learning.”
Nebraska football will look to break a two game losing streak against Washington tomorrow. Pregame coverage starts at 3PM on the Husker Radio Network, with kickoff at 7PM.
