IMPORTANT POST-ELECTION NOTICE
According to the Arnold Sentinel, the following message was received from Custer County Election Commissioner Kelly Jacobson:
“It was identified that the Arnold Village Board contest was inadvertently included on the ballot for voters not residing within the Village of Arnold.
We are working closely with the Secretary of State to ensure that only results from voters residing within the Village of Arnold are included in the results.
All voters residing within the Village of Arnold received ballot style 3.01. Our bipartisan counting board is in the process of separating out the 3.02 and 3.04 ballot style results that incorrectly included the Village of Arnold contest.
We appreciate the public’s patience and want to assure voters that we are taking the necessary steps to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the election results. While this will take a little bit longer, we are confident that the results for the Village of Arnold can be isolated to reflect only the votes cast by eligible voters within the Village of Arnold.”
